Valley R-VI Junior High/High School awarded the April Student of the Month on Friday, May 9th. Student of the Month Category: Considerate The Junior High recipient was Mercy Anderson and the High School recipient was Haylee Pyatt. We would like to give a huge thank you to Roy's Convenience Store for donating pizza for our students of the month.

Athlete of the Month for April Each month in conjunction with Roy's Convenience Stores, an athlete will be selected for Athlete of the Month. The recipients will receive a $25 gift certificate to Roy's. For the month of April, the Athletes of the Month are Chayse DeClue and Daisy Kearns. Congratulations Chayse and Daisy and a huge thanks to Roy's for supporting our athletes

We are happy to report that power has been fully restored to all school buildings. Classes and activities have resumed as normal. Thank you for your patience and to Ameren for their assistance during the outage.

We want to inform you that power is currently out at both the Junior High/High School and the Elementary School. The Preschool does still have power. Please be assured that all students and staff are safe and secure. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

We just wrapped up our MAP testing for the year at the elementary! Each student who showed up on time, had their Chromebook charged and put forth good effort, got their names entered into a drawing each day for gift cards and a book out of the vending machine. Way to go Vikings!!
