Happy National Boss's Day

Seniors and Parents/Guardians,
Join us on Thursday, November 6th, for a pizza dinner as we complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA! Come anytime between 3:30 and 7:00. Mineral Area College representatives will be on site to help and answer any questions.
FAFSA completion is required if:
1. You plan to attend college or a technical school
2. You are unsure if you want to attend college or technical school; it's better to have this step completed rather than waiting!
Even if you think you won't qualify for aid, you should still fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). It is the single application required for nearly all types of financial assistance for college, and it is free to complete. The FAFSA can help you access federal loans, state grants, institutional scholarships, and more.
Those in attendance will have their names entered into a drawing for prizes!
Please RSVP to Mrs. Jones at ajones@valley.k12.mo.us or (573) 779-3900 for an accurate food count. For more information on what you may need to bring, please visit https://studentaid.gov/. Please check out the videos below for additional information!

Valley R-VI School District – Construction and Traffic Update
Dear Students, Staff, and Community Members,
We are pleased to share some great news regarding our ongoing construction project! The front parking lot will reopen for all traffic on Tuesday, October 14th, several days earlier than originally planned.
We sincerely thank Brockmiller Construction and Iron Masters for their outstanding work and efficiency in completing this phase ahead of schedule. Their teamwork and dedication have helped minimize disruption to our daily routines and keep our campus improvements moving forward safely and successfully.
We also want to extend our appreciation to our students, staff, and community members for your patience and cooperation during this temporary closure. Your flexibility has made a big difference as we continue building a better Valley R-VI campus for everyone.
Thank you for your continued support of Valley R-VI Schools!
With appreciation,
