More Updates on Progress!!! ADA Ramp Completed in the JH/HS Science and Music Hallway. Also, Band Room Expansion with new wider door to allow easier access for larger instruments. More accessibility and opportunities for our students!!!
Athletic Update
Thank you Washington County Handicapped Services-The Pam Dudley Center for donating a sound system for our baseball field.
We are very happy to announce the new JH/HS Kitchen will be open for use beginning tomorrow, August 27th. All JH/HS students will be able to eat in the cafeteria tomorrow while both breakfast and lunch will be served from our newly renovated kitchen.
Kitchen improvements include: New walk in freezer, new hot and cold area serving line, new fire prevention safety system, new flooring, new ceiling, new paint throughout, new water softener, new water heater, newly renovated electric and gas, new sink, new storage shelving, and many other upgrades.
We are excited about the improved food service this will provide for our students, staff, and community. A big thank you to all of our students, parents, and staff for all of their patience and teamwork as we adapted during the start of school. Also, a great deal of appreciation goes out to Brockmiller Construction, IDS Architects, Meir electric, the many contractors, and our custodian/maintenance staff for all of their work on this project.

We have received an update from our construction team that the JH/HS Kitchen will unfortunately not be ready for use at the start of school due to supply and service delays. The good news is that the project is very close to completion, and our contractors are optimistic it will be ready for service soon.
All student breakfasts and lunches will be served through our Elementary Cafeteria beginning Tuesday, August 19th, until further notice. We will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

Due to current construction projects, which are expected to continue throughout the 2025-26 school year, we will continue to implement the same traffic procedures that we ended last school year with starting Tuesday, August 19th. A map of our new traffic procedures is included. Please review the following changes & map carefully:
• Bus Procedures:
• All buses will drop off and pick up in the front of the campus for both AM and PM routes.
• The Belleview bus will drop off in the front of campus in the morning, but will continue to pick up at the normal location on the side of JH/High School in the afternoon.
• Buses will be lined up in the front of campus starting at the JH/High school office door. Once all JH/HS students are loaded, buses will proceed to pick up Elementary students.
• During the C Hwy Bridge Construction some routes may have pick up and drop off times adjusted – earlier or later. We appreciate everyone’s patience and support during this road improvement construction.
• Parent Drop-Off/Pick-Up:
• All parent A.M. & P.M. traffic will now use the back parking lot for both drop-off and pick-up.
• Elementary Students will be dropped off in the back parking lot at the normal P.M. pick up location at the doors between the dome gym and the elementary cafeteria
• JH/High School Students will be dropped off in the back parking lot at the JH Gym Door entrance.
• Drop Off time will begin at 7:15 A.M. and Pick Up time will begin at 3:32 P.M. each school day.
• Student Dismissal:
• Bus riders JH/High School Students must exit through the front door by the high school office only. Elementary Student Bus Riders will exit through the doors near the playground of the 3rd-6th grade dome A.
• Student drivers and parent pickups will continue to exit through the back parking lot JH Gym doors as usual.
• Student drivers should exercise caution when exiting, as elementary pick-up traffic will also be in the back lot.
We will continue to assess and refine the process during construction. Any necessary adjustments will be communicated promptly.
