School District Tax Rate Hearing Notice

Valley R-VI was honored to host ALICE safety training for active shooter and intruder situations We had school and emergency personnel from as far as Oklahoma, Iron County, Bismarck, Jefferson County, Desoto, Perryville, Arcadia Valley, and other areas. Our Meet the Teacher Night is coming up next Thursday, August 14th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Please stop by the dome gymnasium first to visit the Back to School Fair and pick up supplies for all K-6 elementary students. We are excited to see all of you!!! Enjoy the rest of your summer!

JH/HS registration for current and new students will be August 7th-8th, 8:00 am -3:00 pm. For more information, visit the school website or call the high school office at 573-779-3446, ext. 1.

Open registration for all new incoming students to the elementary building (K-6) will begin Tues., August 5th and run through Fri., August 8th. Office hours will be 8:00 am - 3:00 pm each day. Please call the elementary office at (573) 779-3446 ext. 2, if you have any questions.

Phone Service Restored at Valley R-VI School District
We are pleased to inform our community that phone service to the Valley R-VI School District has been fully restored. The phone lines, which were inadvertently damaged during nearby construction, have now been repaired.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our phone service provider and especially to the local technicians who worked diligently in extreme heat to get us back up and running.
Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding during this time.

Due to a phone line being inadvertently cut during construction, all phone lines for Valley R-VI School District are currently down. The local phone provider has informed us that service restoration may take up to two weeks.

While our teachers are still on summer break, our administration and office staff remain available during regular office hours. For assistance, please contact us through email, which can be accessed on our district website at https://www.valleyschooldistrict.org/staff.

We apologize for this inconvenience and will provide updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
