Valley R-VI School District - Construction and Traffic Update
Dear Students, Staff, and Community Members,
Beginning Wednesday, October 8th through Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, the front parking lot of our campus will be closed to all through traffic, with the exception of district buses. This temporary change is necessary to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and community as structural steel is delivered for our new construction project. A crane will be in operation in the front parking area during this time.
To accommodate this work:
• All staff and students should park in the back parking lot during the construction period.
• No through traffic will be allowed in the front parking lot from October 8–22.
For those needing to visit our offices:
• JH/HS Office Visitors: Please use the normal parking lot entrance on the baseball field side to both enter and exit. You may park in the far west side parking spaces to access the JH/HS Office.
• Elementary Office Visitors: Please use the east side exit near the playground to both enter and exit. You may park in the far east side parking spaces to access the Elementary Office.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, flexibility, and cooperation during this phase of construction. Each step brings us closer to exciting campus improvements that will benefit our students and community for years to come.

Athlete of the Month for September
Each month in conjunction with Roy's Convenience Stores, an athlete will be selected for Athlete of the Month. The recipients will receive a $25 gift certificate to Roy's.
For the month of September, the Athletes of the Month are Izzy Boyer and Graiden Campbell.
Congratulations Graiden and Izzy and a huge thanks to Roy's for supporting our athletes.
