The Valley R-VI School District would like to make all aware that one of our route buses being involved in an accident this morning on Highway 32. All students and our bus driver appear to be okay. The situation is being handled per policy and we will update as soon as information becomes available.

This month in conjunction with B&C Metal, an athlete was selected for Athlete of the Month. The recipients will receive $25 cash.
For the month of February, the Athletes of the Month are Shane Aldridge and Daisy Kearns.

Valley R-VI Junior High/High School awarded the February Student of the Month on Friday, March 13th.
Student of the Month Category: Good Communication
The Junior High recipient was Kinsley Midgett and the High School recipient was Rebecca Conroy.

Valley R-VI School District, Welcomes Dr. Ryan Wadlow as JH/HS Principal for SY 26/27
The Valley R-VI Board of Education has unanimously approved the hiring of Dr. Ryan Wadlow as the district’s new Junior High/High School Principal.
Dr. Wadlow currently serves as Assistant Principal and Safety Officer at Arcadia Valley High School where he has worked since 2023. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Maryville University, a Specialist and Master’s Degree in Administration from SEMO, and Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science from CMU. He is certified in K-12 Administration, K-12 SPED, Elementary 1-6, and MS (5-9) Social Studies,
He has attended the MSBS School Safety Academy and attained certification as a School Safety Specialist and numerous FEMA safety certifications. He also has his Class-B CDL as a Bus Driver.
Prior to his current role, he served in several positions in the Farmington R-7 School District, including Dean of Students, Special Education teacher, teacher, paraprofessional, and coach.
Dr. Wadlow lives in Belleview, Missouri, with his wife, Mary, and their two children, Martha and Ruger. The district looks forward to welcoming the Wadlow family and is excited about the leadership and experience Dr. Wadlow will bring to students, staff, and the school community.
