Valley Graduating Requirements

All Valley R-VI students must have earned 24 high school credits and have completed the following course requirements as set forth by the state department and our local board of education to graduate.

  • Communication Arts: 4 Credits
  • Math: 3 Credits
  • Science: 3 Credits
  • Social Studies: 3 Credits
  • Fine Arts: 1 Credit
  • Practical Arts: 1 Credit
  • Physical Education: 1 Credit
  • Health: ½ Credit
  • Personal Finance: ½ Credit
  • Electives: 7 Credits

Students who enroll in Arcadia Valley Technical and Career Center will earn three (3) units of credit each year for work that is successfully completed, for a maximum of 6 credits applied toward graduation.
